The Venue

Eighty acres, six hundred metres up.

Arrival

You come in down a gravel driveway, under a canopy of remnant rainforest. The homestead sits alone in the clearing, the first building you see. Walk up onto the front lawn and the view opens up behind it.

Ceremony locations

Three places to hold the ceremony, each facing a different way.

Coastal View

The coast runs the length of the view, from Coolangatta in the south to North Stradbroke Island in the north.

More to come: a covered ceremony pavilion is in the works.

The marquee

The marquee is semi-permanent, 10 metres by 25, extending to 10 by 30 for weddings over 150 guests. Its sides are glass, year round. The roof is white from November to March, and clear for the rest of the year.

Getting ready

Rosewood Homestead is available from 7:00am on your wedding day. Five bedrooms, verandahs on three sides, set apart from the event lawn in the trees.

See our Stay page for the full details.

Getting here

20 minutes from Nerang, 50 from Gold Coast Airport, 70 from Brisbane. Parking for 60 cars, helicopter landing sites available.

Two ways up

Both routes reach us via Beechmont Road. The road straight up from Nerang is the quicker of the two, but it's a winding climb. The approach via Witheren is gentler, but adds about twenty minutes from Nerang.

For guests coming from the Gold Coast, we'd recommend organising a bus. It takes the drive off everyone's hands, and it means nobody's watching what they drink. Our recommended suppliers page lists coach operators who know the road.

Or arrive by air: the estate has its own helicopter landing sites.
